Esri Commendation Award · 2026

Climate Geodesign of Lagos State, Nigeria

As Team Lead, I led a multidisciplinary team whose entry was selected as a finalist in the 2026 Global Climate Geodesign Competition, organized by the International Geodesign Collaboration (IGC), LISD-Europe, the University of Minnesota, and Esri. It earned the Esri Commendation Award, announced by Esri Chief Scientist Dr. Dawn Wright.

The project was showcased in the Map Gallery at the Esri User Conference 2026 in San Diego, California, alongside finalist entries from around the world.
